¿Where are you going?

  We really loved this place. Huge balcony with view of trees and distant mountains. Full floor to ceiling sliding glass doors to balcony from bedroom and living room. Well equipped... read more kitchen. Comfortable bed. Lots of storage room. The building has good security people at the door 24/7. The location is on a relatively quiet street. A great grocery store is only 100 yards away. An ATM is even closer as well as three pharmacies. A 15-20 minute walk down the slope will get you to major shopping malls and the tourist area with dozens and dozens of shops and restaurants. This part of Medellin is beautiful. It is like a city built in a park with beautiful urban forests, running streams and clean, well maintained sidewalks and streets. Taxis and Ubers are cheap and plentiful. You couldn't ask for a better climate. The temperature stays in the 70's Fahrenheit all year round - a little higher on sunny days and a bit cooler during the night. Manny is an excellent host. He was really responsive.

La cocina está equipada con todo los utensilios que necesitas, tienen cobijas y almohadas extra, la limpieza estuvo bien!

Wifi: 3/5 had some hiccups but usually good. I work of a virtual desktop so... read more consistent internet is VITAL. Few days the internet would be spotty for a bit. For some reason the internet was super weak at night. I would use the internet from the cafe in the building when this would happen.

Location: 4/5 Mall & park Tesoro are right up the hill with 1 road to cross. Have everything you’d ever imagine in mall tesoro as it is HUGE. There’s a 24 hr luxury super market down the hill which has a restaurant too. Crossing the street to get there is sketchy but you’d get used to it. I rarely ubered but I am a big walker.

Apartment: 3/5 GIANT terrace and beautiful views from the GIANT windows. Only reason I give it a 3 is you’re treated like a child by security - no friends over after 10pm and only up to 3 allowed. Also, the living room bathroom light doesn’t work and the host can’t fix it which was super annoying.

  Andres place looked just like the photos. We had an issue with the bathroom sink and Andres had it fixed immediately! There is a Clap Burger directly across the street.... read more And a Euro Supermarket at the end of the street. Very safe and convenient location. Look forward to staying there again on our next visit to Medellin.

The place is neat and the balcony makes it. I would probably prefer a couch in the living room instead of a bed or at least some padding from the wall to better relax

I liked the spot overall.
